# Welcome

Your best guide to becoming an effective Cardano Governance DRep

The DRep Onboarding Toolkit is a resource library designed for you to learn, connect, and complete the process involved in becoming a registered DRep within the Cardano ecosystem. To maximize user efficiency, we have created user guides, video tutorials, onboarding webinars, and gathered other essential informational materials, forum discussions, and updates into one resource.

By integrating the toolkit content with existing tools, ongoing work, and references from the community, we simplify the approaches required for anyone to successfully onboard as a Delegated Representative.

## What Will You Get?

* **Useful Resources** - find resources developed and improved by members of the governance bodies, and the broader Cardano community
* **Tutorials** - step-by-step visual guides that demonstrate how specific tools, features and components work within the governance system.
* **Explainer Videos** - follow clear and concise videos that guide DReps through key concepts and processes, and answer important questions about Cardano Governance.

## Who is This For?

* **New & Aspiring DReps (Delegated Representatives)**

  Quickly understand the registration process, voting mechanisms, and tools required to be a DRep, i.e., practicing testnet voting, storing metadata files, and receiving delegation requests from Ada holders.
* **Ada-holders**

  Any Ada holder interested in governance can learn how to delegate their ada to active DReps (delegate representatives) listed on the directory. Emphasizing the impact and voting power of ada-holders means recognizing their stake in the governance process.
* **Community Educators & Trainers**

  Provide local and online communities with a reliable governance onboarding resource. Workshop hosts and trainees can have a reliable resource material with step-by-step demos, visual guides, FAQs etc. to explain governance processes during community discussions.

## Reimagining Cardano Governance
